Yes it is! We have taken every precaution to make our site as safe as possible. First off, you are dealing with a 12 year old company that has taken pride in our work and service for all of these years.
We do not share or sell your personal data. Only companies that need to have any of your information for shipping or banking/credit card processing, will have access to your personal information.

Your credit card information is always protected by industry standard encryption technology. This means that your credit card or personal information is scrambled when it is sent, and unscrambled when is reaches our server. We use the latest encryption technology that sends packets of your information in different directions through the internet and then reassembles them in our server.
What will Family Portrait Fun do with my data after they collect it?
Family Portrait Fun will never sell or share your personal information with any individual or company. Please click on the "Privacy Policy", at the bottom of this page to view our privacy statement.

What are your portrait prices?Sheet pricing (8x10, 5x7, 3 1/2x5, and wallets) are priced on a sliding scale. The more you order the lower the price per sheet! Pricing applies to entier order, not just one proof. Example: 1 8x10 of proof 21, 2 sheets of 5x7 of proof 24 and 5 sheets of wallets of proof 35 = 8 sheets total at $20.00 per sheet. WOW thats a deal!

How do I create an account on your site?1. On your web browser enter www.familyportaitfun.com.
2. On our homepage click on Register or Log In.
3. You will need to fill in the requested information, and click on “Create an Account”.
I forgot my login information.
1. On our home page, in the upper left hand corner you can click on “Forgot your password?” and we will email your password to the email address that you used to register.

All photographs that you will view are subject to copyrights of Family Portrait Fun Inc. and are protected by the Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) and by the Berne Convention. Reproduction, storage or transmittal by any means, of any image on this web site, whole or in part, is prohibited without express prior written permission. Prints purchased from Family Portrait Fun Inc. may not be reproduced or scanned for any reason and may only be used for personal display. If you wish to publish or reproduce the materials in any physical or digital form or use them for any commercial purpose, including display or Web page use, you must obtain prior written permission from Family Portrait Fun Inc.

How do I select a sitting time for an event on your site? (No Account)1. On your web browser enter www.familyportaitfun.com.
2. On our homepage click on Register or Log In.
3. If you have not created an account you will need to fill in the requested information, and click on “Create an Account”.
4. Click on the blue link "find the event among our event list".
5. You can scroll through the list (the events are in date order) and find your event or you can use the search boxes at the top of the page to locate your event. In the "Location" box in the upper left hand corner enter the name of the event you wish to attend (note the event does not have to be completely spelled out for the search engine to find the event, example; "mof" is short for moffett.
6. After the event has been typed into the location box or an abbreviation of the location click the search button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
7. Once you have located your event (please make sure that you have located the correct date, many schools will have multiple dates) click the blue “register” link to register for the desired event.
8. Fill out the registration form completely.
9. To select your “Preferred Sitting Time” click on the drop down box and all available times will be shown. If a time slot has already been taken, it will not appear on the list.
10. Once you have completed filling out the registration form, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Agree to Terms” box. Then you will be asked click on "confirm sitting time". If all areas of the form are filled out, and the credit card information is correct; your registration will be complete.
11. You will receive a confirmation notice via the email address that you used for your registration. If you do not receive an email, please check your profile to make sure that your have correctly typed in you email address.

I want to change my sitting time or event date, how do I do it?
1. Log in using your email and password.
2. On “Your Family Portrait Events” page you will see the events that you are registered for.
3. Under “Options” you can select “Change sitting time”, to select another “Preferred Sitting Time”.
4. If you wish to change your event date, select “Change Event”. This will allow you to select another event date.

Photography
How long will the photographer spend with my family?All indoor sittings are scheduled for 10 minutes. Outdoor sittings are scheduled for 10 minutes.
How many images will the photographer take of my family?
Our photographers will take, on average, 8-12 images of your family. This number can vary, depending on your family composition, number of children, age of children, weather conditions, lighting conditions, and the position of the sun, moon and stars.
If your photographers feels that they have captured a pleasing image, they would rather move to another pose than shoot more images of the same pose.
Do you choose my complimentary portrait for me?
No.
How do you print my portraits?
Family Portrait Fun uses state of the art digital printers, with the highest quality silver halide chemical process. This is direct digital continuous tone printing, which produces photo prints far superior to ink jet or other printing types.
What type of portrait paper do you use?
Family Portrait Fun uses the world’s best photo paper. Not only does this paper offer the best photo quality but also offers durability and is resistant to fading.
Will my prints last?
Yes!! We use real, top quality photo paper, not ink jet or dye sublimation paper. Your portraits should last 50-75 years.
Viewing and Ordering
How do I login to view my proofs?1. Log into our web site www.familyportraitfun.com. Enter your email and password in the upper left hand side of the Home page.
2. Under “Your Family Portrait Event” in the "Option" section click on the blue letters labeled "Proof & Order Portraits".
3. Scroll through the images (there are usually several pages of proofs, make sure that you check the next page for more proofs) find and click on the image you wish to select.
How to order your family portraits.
1. Log into our web site www.familyportraitfun.com. Enter your email and password in the upper left hand side of the Home page.
2. Under “Your Family Portrait Event” in the "Option" section click on the blue letters labeled "Proof & Order Portraits".
3. Scroll through the images (there are usually several pages of proofs, make sure that you check the next page for more proofs) find and click on the image you wish to select.
4. In the upper left hand corner of the page there are blue letters labeled "Add To Cart, click on the blue letters to add the image to your virtual shopping cart. You can select as many images as you want and add them to your cart.
5. When you are ready to order your portraits, you need to look on the left hand side of the page. You will see several options. One of the options is "Order Portraits".
6. Click on “Order Portraits” and you will be taken to the “Order/Price” page. At the top of the page you will see the proof images that you have selected, the image that you will be ordering for is the one marked “Active”. Scroll down the page to see all of the different size portraits that you can choose from. You may select as many portrait prints as you want for your image. As you order your will see the order info change on the left hand column If you have selected more than one proof image, look to the top of the page and select your next image (it will now be the active image) and start ordering for that image. When you are done or just want to check on your cart, look on the left hand side and select “Manage Your Cart”. From this page you can remove images and change your order. If you change your order make sure to select “Update Cart” at the bottom of the page.
7. Once you are happy with your order click on “Check Out”. Enter your credit card info, check you’re billing and shipping address, and then click on “continue”. Check all the info, and click on “confirm”. You are done. Print the confirmation page to keep as a receipt.
How long will images be available online?
1.6-9 months.
How long do I have to order, so that my school or organization receives it's percentage donation?
First, your school or organization must have 20 families confirmed for your event to qualify for the donation. You have 5 days from the posting of the images on our web site to order and have it count towards your organization's donation.
How long do I have to select my complimentary portrait?
We allow 90 days from the date of your event.
There are strange people in the background of my proofs.
We will remove any obvious people from the background of your portrait before we print your images.
My proofs look funny on my screen. Will my prints look funny too?
The images that you are viewing are low resolution (small) files. Your final portraits will be printed from the original (very large) files. We will make every effort to remove obvious distracting objects from the background of your image. We will also crop, adjust horizon, and color correct as needed prior to printing. All portraits will be printed on the finest photographic paper. This will insure a beautiful and long lasting portrait. As with all our products if you are not 100% satisfied we will refund the purchase price.
Shipping
I have not received my portrait or upgrade and it has been over 4 weeks, what should I do?Contact our customer service rep at 800-537-5285 and we will track your portraits.
How long will it take to get my portraits?
1. Your family’s portraits (via USPS) and Holiday Photo Greeting Cards (via UPS) will be shipped within 4 weeks of your event.
2. All upgrades and any portraits 11x14 and up will be shipped within 4-6 weeks of your event date (via UPS).
****During the Holiday Season, from Nov.25 thru Dec 15, all orders will be shipped within 5 day of ordering. Shipping may take several days.****
My portraits were bent in shipping, how do I get them reprinted?
1. Put the damaged portraits back in the mailer and place a note inside stating that they were damaged in shipping.
2. Mail them back to PO Box 667 Manhattan Beach CA 90267-667.
3. We will reprint your portraits with in 3 week and ship them back to you, no charge.
4. If you wish not to pay the return postage, take the damaged portraits and mailer to your local Post Office and request that they pay for the return postage.
5. Damaged portraits must be returned to us within 5 days of your receipt of the portraits.
My upgrade was damaged by UPS, how do I get it reprinted?
1. Contact UPS at www.UPS.com and notify them of the damage.
2. Call our customers service at 800-537-5285 and let us know about the damage.
3. Return the damaged portrait to us, via UPS.
4. We will reprint your upgrade and reship it within 4 weeks of your report.
Privacy
Viewing event proofs as a group.1. With the introduction of our new online web site security was our #1 priority when we designed and implemented our own site. The programming and administration of www.familyportraitfun.com is done solely by Family Portrait Fun Inc. We own and maintain our secure server. We do not farm out our web site. All of your personal data and our event proofs are stored on our server.
2. Only families that have created an account and registered for an event can view our proof images.
3. We monitor the shipping addresses of all portraits that we mail. If we see a different address we contact the family and verify there relations to the family.
What if I do not want my family’s proofs shown on your web site?
1. Currently we do not have a way to display your family’s images separately.
2. One suggestion is to view your family’s images immediately upon posting them, ordering your portraits and then request that we remove your family’s images.
3. You could also call and have your family’s images removed from the event, and schedule a private viewing at our offices.
4. If you are uncomfortable, with our online proofing and purchasing, the best route for your family would be to find a local photographer and schedule a private sitting. Then you could go to their location and view your images in person. This would ensure total privacy for you and your family.

Guarantee Info
What kind of guarantee do you offer on your portraits?If you are not happy with your portraits we will reprint them for you at no charge, to correct any printing problems. If you are not happy for any other reason we will refund 100% of the purchase price (we do not refund shipping). Just return your portraits to us WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT, with a note stating problem, and we will refund your account within 21 business days.
What guarantee do you offer on you Bordered Photo Cards?
We will reprint your Bordered Photo Cards for quality issues, such as color correction, or blemishes on the print. We will not reprint them for incorrect spelling on family greeting or misordering of border. We do not offer a refund on Bordered Photo Cards. So double check your choice before you order!
Can I get a refund for my sitting fee?
We will refund your sitting fee if you contact us 24 hours prior to your event. If you do not contact us we will consider your sitting fee a donation. We will not refund your sitting fee after you have had your portraits taken.
What guarantee to you have on the Image CD?
We do not offer our 100% money back guarantee on the Image CD.

How will I get my digital images?Your images will be sent to you via your log in email address. They will be attached to an email from familyportraitfun.com.
What size digital file do you have?
We offer serval sizes. All images will be emailed to your log in email address.
Cell Phone Wallpaper-Cell phone sized image file. Small jpg file ready to send via phone or email. No need to resize we have done it for you.
JPG Image file small-Small jpg file.3.5"x5" @ 72ppi Great for web page or email. Already sized and ready to upload. We will email this file to you.
JPG Image file 4x6-Medium size jpg file. Cropped and sized for 4x6 @ 300 ppi. Will be emailed to you
JPG Image file 5x7-Large jpg file cropped and sized to print 5"x7" @ 300 ppi. This file will be emailed to you.

What can I do with my image files?
These file are for your personal use (prints, email, t-shirts). We do not authorize the commercial reproduction (use in ads, magazine, billboards, books, websites) of this file. There will be NO REFUNDS for any of our images that you purchase.
What if our printer wants a release form?
Have your printer fax or email us their release form and we will fill it out and return it.
I am having trouble opening my image. What should I do?
Please contact your software manufacturer and have them walk you through the proper procedures for opening, viewing and cropping your image.
